Lash Training in Montréal, Taught Personally by Anna Dao
LASHGASM teaches two in-person lash courses in Montréal: a two-day Complete Beginner's Lash Training for new artists at CAD $1,050, and a one-day Advanced & Refresher day for already-certified artists at CAD $750, both taught personally by Anna Dao.
This page compares the two paths, sets out what a student actually receives, and explains why the training, the studio work and the product line are one system rather than three.
Compare the two lash courses
The beginner course builds a working artist from zero over two days, while the advanced day refines an existing practice in one customized session.

Learning from a working lash artist, not a classroom
Anna Dao teaches every session herself, between the client appointments she still works at the same Chabanel studio.
That matters for a practical reason: the mapping decisions, retention habits and product handling taught in class are the ones she uses on paying clients that week, not a syllabus she wrote once. The loop runs in three parts, and each part feeds the next.
The artist
Anna applies every LASHGASM set herself, across all seven lash styles on the service menu, from Classic through Mega Volume, plus standard and Korean lash lifts.
The educator
Anna teaches both courses in person and stays available to students afterwards through ongoing mentorship, which is part of the course rather than an upsell.
The products
Students train on the same professional trays, tweezers, adhesives and liquids sold in the LASHGASM Shop, and keep a lifetime 15% discount on them, so nothing has to be relearned on unfamiliar tools after graduation.
Anna's documented training credentials
Anna Dao holds three certificates from private training providers, covering classic extensions, volume extensions, and RefectoCil lash tinting and lash lift.
The certificates are photographed, transcribed and presented in full in the credentials section of Anna's page, with the issuing organization and document type for each. Certification claims on this site are scoped to those three techniques and nothing else.
The student journey, from enrolment to first paying client
A student moves through four stages: enrolment, scheduling, the in-person days, and the supported practice that follows.
- Enrolment. Courses are purchased in the LASHGASM Shop, which is where current payment options are shown.
- Scheduling. After enrolling, LASHGASM contacts you to arrange your training dates; all training is held in person in Montréal, with flexible scheduling options.
- The training days. Two days for beginners, one customized day for certified artists, each ending with supervised work on a live model. Model arrangements are confirmed with you before the course.
- After the course. You leave with the kit, the manual and a certificate of completion, and keep access to Anna's mentorship and the student product discount.
The lash glossary defines the technical vocabulary used throughout both curricula, from lash mapping and isolation to handmade fans and retention.

Training questions
These are the questions prospective students ask most often before enrolling.
Not for the beginner course, which starts from zero. The one-day advanced and refresher training is different: it requires an existing lash certification.
Both courses end with a certificate of completion issued by LASHGASM. It records that the training was completed and is not a professional-order licence.
Yes. Both courses include practice on a live model, and full model details are provided after purchase.
Every student receives a professional lash kit holding the same product categories used at the studio and sold in the LASHGASM Shop.
Support continues: the beginner course includes ongoing mentorship and support, the advanced day includes post-training support, and graduates of both keep a lifetime 15% discount on LASHGASM products.
After enrolling in the LASHGASM Shop you are contacted to arrange your dates. All training is held in person in Montréal, with flexible scheduling options available.
Both courses cover classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume application, along with lash mapping and styling, client preparation and aftercare, and business guidance.
Choose your course
Start with the beginner course if you are new to lashing, or the advanced day if you already hold a lash certification.
